Here are six developments Crone says Christians should be watching:

• Artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly. Crone pointed to the Stargate project, whose backers announced plans to invest up to $500 billion in AI infrastructure. He connects that expansion to his reading of Revelation 13. “They know that AI is needed to pull off Revelation 13, this global beast system,” he said of Christians who study prophecy. Crone argues that technology deserves scrutiny regardless of which administration supports it.
• Data centers are expanding alongside AI. Crone said Christians should pay attention to the infrastructure that gives AI its reach. He raised concerns about surveillance and pointed to China’s use of technology to monitor its citizens. “Why are you wanting these things all over the world?” he asked of the expansion of data centers. “What are you building here in the United States of America, man?” He sees the growing network as a potential foundation for the control he associates with a future global system.
• Digital finance is moving forward. Crone believes the spread of digital currencies belongs in the same prophetic discussion. “So, we went from CBDC being pushed digital currency to stablecoin, another digital currency. How’s that a victory?” he said. A White House executive order prohibits federal agencies from pursuing a U.S. central bank digital currency while supporting lawful dollar-backed stablecoins. Crone’s concern is the broader movement toward digital transactions, which he connects to his expectation of a future cashless system.
• Trump is being compared to King Cyrus. Crone said some in Israel see Trump as a modern counterpart to Cyrus, the ruler who helped the Jewish people rebuild the Temple. He traced the comparison to Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem during his first term. “It isn’t just he’s a supporter of Israel. That’s a given,” Crone said. “It’s specifically no, he’s going to help us build the temple.” Crone raised the possibility that Trump could play a part in a future agreement but said he does not know what role the president will take.
• Preparations for a Third Temple are advancing. Crone said people working toward a Third Temple have prepared articles for worship and that the remaining obstacle is permission to build. “They need permission,” he said. “They need somebody to broker a deal.” He connects a future Temple to passages in Daniel, Matthew 24, 2 Thessalonians and Revelation 11. “This is the temple that the Antichrist is going to go up into in the seven-year tribulation, commit the abomination of desolation,” he said.
• Temple and messianic fervor are growing. Crone said interest in rebuilding reaches beyond religious Jews and reflects a desire to restore something central to Israel’s history. “Even with the secular Jewish person, that’s why you’re seeing the numbers go up,” he said while discussing growing support for a Temple. He also described the belief among some Temple advocates that “they need to build the temple in order for their Messiah to come.” Crone said those expectations make the movement especially significant to Christians watching biblical prophecy.

TWO VISIONS FOR THE WORLD
COLLIDED AT THE U.N.
AND ISRAEL IS IN THE CENTER

For several days, world leaders have walked to the same podium in New York and spoken about war, security, artificial intelligence, climate, international law and the future. But listen carefully and something much bigger emerges. They describe two very different visions of how the world should be governed.

• One places national sovereignty at the center. Nations cooperate when it serves their interests but ultimately retain control over their laws, borders, technology, military and foreign policy.
• The other places a growing emphasis on multilateralism: stronger international institutions, global standards, international law and coordinated action when individual governments refuse to follow an emerging international consensus.

And remarkably, Israel is becoming one of the clearest fault lines separating those two visions.

America: We Will Decide for Ourselves

President Donald Trump’s message to the United Nations was unmistakable. America will cooperate, negotiate and maintain alliances, but it will not surrender its sovereignty to international institutions. Trump denounced attempts by unelected “globalist bureaucrats” to dictate policy to sovereign nations. His administration has opposed the International Criminal Court and resisted efforts to place American technology under international oversight. The underlying principle is straightforward: international cooperation, yes; international control, no!

UN Secretary-General António Guterres presented a markedly different vision. He argued that international institutions need to become stronger and that today’s challenges require shared rules, international cooperation and a revitalized multilateral system. Artificial intelligence illustrates the divide. Guterres has called for a multilateral AI risk-management framework with independent oversight. Trump wants America leading the AI revolution without handing control of American technology to international regulators. These are more than disagreements over bureaucracy. They are competing with ideas about who ultimately gets to make the rules.

Then There Is Israel

Nowhere was the divide more visible than Israel. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan used his UN appearance to demand greater international pressure on Israel while again calling for dramatic reform of the international system. Jordan’s King Abdullah questioned why sanctions, embargoes and diplomatic isolation have been applied elsewhere while international resolutions concerning Israel repeatedly remain unenforced. Qatar’s emir likewise demanded greater pressure on Israel and urged additional countries to recognize a Palestinian state.

France, Britain and Canada have moved toward greater coordination over Palestinian statehood and measures intended to preserve a two-state solution. Guterres told a high-level meeting that support for Palestinian statehood must move beyond declarations and become concrete “policies, decisions and actions.” That language deserves attention because the debate is increasingly moving from condemnation toward consequences: sanctions, trade restrictions, arms limitations, international court actions and diplomatic pressure. The mechanisms already exist. What has often been missing is sufficient international agreement to use them.

America Stands Apart

One recent UN vote provided an extraordinary snapshot of the divide. When the General Assembly considered allowing Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to address the gathering virtually after Washington denied him a visa, the vote was 152-3. Only Israel, the United States and Paraguay voted no. Whatever one’s opinion of that resolution, the larger picture is difficult to miss. Israel and America stood together while most of the international community stood somewhere else. That raises a much bigger question: What happens if America eventually moves?

Global Government May Not Look Like We Expected

When people hear “global government,” they often imagine nations surrendering their flags and authority to a single institution. But increasing global governance doesn’t require nations to disappear. It can develop through international courts, health agreements, AI standards, climate commitments, financial regulations, digital identity frameworks, sanctions, treaties and multinational security arrangements. Presidents and parliaments remain, but around them develops an increasingly dense network of international rules and obligations. That is why the competing visions expressed in New York matter. One sees international institutions as increasingly necessary for managing problems that cross national borders. The other insists those institutions must never become masters over sovereign nations. America currently stands firmly in the second camp.

But Presidents Change

If the United States continues down its current path, Washington could increasingly reject international institutions it considers hostile to American interests, refuse international authority over its citizens and allies, resist international regulation and continue using its Security Council veto to protect Israel. Under that scenario, America could become a powerful outlier in a world pursuing deeper multilateral coordination.

But administrations change, and there is another possible path.

The UN cannot simply announce that its resolutions supersede the U.S. Constitution. General Assembly resolutions generally do not override American law. Yet future administrations could voluntarily integrate America more deeply into international systems through treaties, regulatory harmonization, international institutions, judicial mechanisms and shared technological, financial, environmental and health standards. America would remain sovereign on paper, but the practical question would be how much freedom remains after accepting layer upon layer of international obligations.

For Israel, the question becomes even more consequential: Could America eventually move toward the international consensus concerning Jerusalem?

The Prophetic Question America Cannot Avoid

Students of Bible prophecy immediately recognize the significance of Israel becoming the focus of international attention. Zechariah describes Jerusalem becoming a burdensome stone and nations gathering against it. Joel describes nations being gathered for judgment and specifically connects that judgment with their treatment of God’s people and division of the land. Those passages don’t tell us America’s future role. But that presents a fascinating question. Right now, America is the primary diplomatic and military power standing beside Israel. Yet there is no unmistakable United States standing beside Jerusalem in the prophetic passages describing the nations converging against Israel. That doesn’t prove America disappears or abandons Israel. America’s power could decline, its policies could change, or the United States may simply be outside the prophetic camera frame. Scripture doesn’t tell us. But look at the direction of travel. International pressure on Israel is growing. Governments are coordinating their positions. International institutions provide mechanisms through which consensus can become action. Meanwhile, America currently stands apart, insisting that sovereign nations — not international institutions — must ultimately determine their own course.

Two visions of the future are taking shape.
Israel is already standing on the fault line.
And the unanswered question may be where America will stand when that divide becomes impossible to straddle.

About 3,800 years ago, a man from Mesopotamia walked into the hills of Samaria, stopped beneath a grove of trees, and heard God speak the words that have defined Jewish history ever since. This week, at that same spot, Israeli ministers laid the cornerstone for a path that will let thousands of visitors walk in his footsteps.

Israel’s Ministry of Tourism has launched the “Joshua Trail,” the first project of its new “Biblical Trails in Judea and Samaria” initiative. The NIS 3.2 million project, roughly $850,000, includes an accessible promenade and a suspension bridge connecting the Elon Moreh Heritage Center with the summit of the Mount Kabir Nature Reserve, overlooking the valley of Shechem. The route will combine the region’s dramatic scenery with sites tied to its biblical history. The first of the biblical trails is named for Joshua and begins at Elon Moreh. The Bible explains the choice.

“In Samaria, the story is found on the ground, in the places where the events that shaped our history took place,” Minister Katz said. “Developing tourism is part of building the country. Every trail we develop and every site we make accessible connects more people to the area, strengthens settlement and generates growth. Samaria can and should become Israel’s Tuscany. It has landscapes, vineyards, wineries, history and heritage that cannot be found anywhere else. Dagan called the trail “another moving step in building the country.” “This place, where the forefathers of the nation walked, will now become accessible and welcoming to large numbers of visitors from across Israel,” he said. “Our response to every challenge is to continue building and continue developing tourism in the heart of the land of the Bible.”

The First Promise

Elon Moreh takes its name from the first place Abraham stopped when he entered the Land of Israel. There, God appeared to him for the first time in the land and made the promise on which all Jewish history rests: “And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Shechem, unto the terebinth of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. And the LORD appeared unto Abram and said: ‘Unto thy seed will I give this land’; and he builded there an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him” (Genesis 12:6–7).

Elon Moreh means “the terebinth of Moreh,” a great tree that served as a landmark in the hills above Shechem. Rashi explains that God brought Abraham to this specific place for a reason. From Elon Moreh, God showed Abraham Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal, the two mountains where his descendants would one day accept the covenant of the Torah. Both mountains are visible from the summit of Mount Kabir, where the new trail ends. The Bible also records that “the Canaanite was then in the land.” The promise was given while others held the land. Dagan’s words at the ceremony, “our response to every challenge is to continue building,” echo Abraham’s own response. He heard the promise, and he built an altar.

Joshua on Mount Ebal

Five hundred years later, Moses commanded the children of Israel to return to this spot once they crossed the Jordan. He instructed them to proclaim the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal, “beside the terebinths of Moreh” (Deuteronomy 11:29–30). Joshua carried out the command. After the conquest of Jericho and Ai, he led the entire nation to the valley between the two mountains, built an altar of whole stones on Mount Ebal, and read aloud every word of the Torah: “There was not a word of all that Moses commanded, which Joshua read not before all the assembly of Israel, and the women, and the little ones, and the strangers that walked among them” (Joshua 8:35).

In the 1980s, archaeologist Adam Zertal uncovered a large stone structure on the northeastern slope of Mount Ebal that he identified as Joshua’s altar. It lies within sight of Mount Kabir. Joshua returned to this region at the end of his life. At Shechem, below Elon Moreh, he gathered the tribes to renew the covenant, and there the children of Israel buried the bones of Joseph, which they had carried out of Egypt (Joshua 24:32). The trail named for Joshua overlooks the valley where he read the Torah to the nation and where he sealed its covenant with God. The verse in Joshua carries a message for today’s visitors. When Joshua read the Torah on Mount Ebal, “the strangers that walked among them” were standing beside Israel. The Tourism Ministry expects the trail to draw visitors from across Israel and around the world, including the growing number of Christians who come to Samaria to stand where the Bible happened.

Walking the Land

The Sages taught that walking the Land of Israel is itself an act of taking possession. After Abraham parted from Lot, God commanded him: “Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for unto thee will I give it” (Genesis 13:17). The Talmud derives from this verse that walking the length and breadth of a field can establish ownership of it (Bava Batra 100a).

A suspension bridge in Samaria might seem a modest project. It stands on the spot where God first promised the land to Abraham, and where Joshua read the covenant to the nation. The Joshua Trail invites visitors to walk the land as Abraham was commanded to walk it, in the length and in the breadth. With every step, they reclaim a promise first spoken beneath the terebinth of Moreh: “Unto thy seed will I give this land.”

TRIBULATION WATCH!!

The treaty that starts the clock.
Daniel 9:27 describes the Antichrist confirming a covenant with many for one week — seven years. Not a vague alliance, but a formal, signed, internationally recognized peace agreement. Scholars widely hold this involves Israel, likely addressing borders, temple access, or regional security. The moment that document is signed, the final seven years begin. What makes a charismatic global leader’s peace deal the trigger for the Tribulation?

Researchers investigating the site, long associated by some with the biblical story of Noah’s Ark, have reportedly begun drilling into the formation to collect samples from beneath the surface. According to reports from the research effort, one of the drill bits shattered after encountering an unusually hard layer. Researchers have raised the possibility that the material could be petrified or fossilized wood. Samples collected from the site are now expected to undergo further scientific analysis to determine exactly what the material is, how old it may be, and whether it has a natural geological explanation. For Christians, the location is especially fascinating because Genesis describes Noah’s Ark coming to rest “on the mountains of Ararat” after the flood. If testing determines that the material is ancient, worked wood or reveals evidence of a large man-made structure, that will certainly raise some fascinating questions. For now, the drilling continues, the samples are being studied, and the world waits to see what they find.  The drilling has begun. The investigation is underway. And the story of Noah continues to point us back to the God who saves.

Warren, Michigan, the third-largest city in Michigan, has fallen to Islam and is now becoming the next Dearborn. City officials and police have actively aided them in conquering the city. Christian churches are being turned into mosques, and the city has turned into a third-world Muslim enclave.

In less than a decade, the third-largest city in Michigan has been conquered by Islam and is well on its way to being the next Dearbornistan. Warren, MI, used to ring out Christian church bells on Sundays. Now, they are blasted with the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, five times a day, and Christian churches are being bought up and turned into mosques and Islamic meeting centers. As one resident noted, there’s nothing they won’t turn into a mosque, and the Muslims there are disrespectful toward infidels.

The Islamification of Warren, MI
A Lutheran church in Warren that has stood for more than 80 years was bought six years ago and is now the Al Ihsaan Islamic Center, according to Fox News.

This is the silent conquering of America;
seizing one Christian church at a time in the name of Allah.
The ones they can’t obtain mysteriously seem to burn down.
“They’ll turn anything into a mosque,” Justin Tye, 57, told Fox News Digital.
Warren has been inundated with Muslims over the last ten years.

 He remembers a time when the Lutheran church was the centerpiece of his American suburb where local children would gather on the lawn to play pickup sports. Now, the sacred has become profane. Warren has fallen to absolute Islamic corruption. Lebanese, Iraqi and Syrian immigrants, mostly Chaldean Christians, began moving to the Detroit area in the early 20th century, after Henry Ford’s combustion engine drove demand for laborers in the newly-minted auto industry.

Warren, now the third-largest city in Michigan after Detroit and Grand Rapids, exploded almost overnight with the post-World War II auto manufacturing boom, as war veterans moved to the area to work for Ford and General Motors. The blue-collar, white-picket-fence community incorporated as a town in 1957. When Tye grew up, he left Warren. He returned 13 years ago and bought the home he grew up in. The neighborhood was a little different, but not dramatically so. That was all about to change. Not long after Tye moved back home, Muslims began besieging the city. Within a seven-mile radius of Tye’s neighborhood, there are now five mosques. A former Baptist church is now a mosque, as is an old industrial machinery business. Tye noted a residential home that Muslims bought and tried to turn into a mosque before a zoning war took place, where the Warren City Council eventually decided against the change.

Another Conquered American City
“It all started when they bought the mosque, roughly six years ago,” Tye commented, sharing that original residents of the city now feel as though they are being pushed out. “After Ramadan, they would have their [Eid al-Fitr] prayer service. It was unannounced. We didn’t know anything,” he remarked. “All of a sudden, we were just woken up to 100-plus people behind the mosque, with an imam on a podium with big amplifier speakers, belting out his prayer service. So, it woke up the whole neighborhood.”

Tye and his neighbors claim that since that day the neighborhood has turned to “chaos,” especially during Muslim holidays and weekly Friday afternoon prayers. His neighbor Wendy Schneider must visit the doctor frequently but won’t do so on Friday afternoons because of the horrendous traffic caused by Muslims flooding the neighborhood for Jummah prayers. For the same reason, Tye didn’t renew his motorcycle license plates this year.

The roads have become exceedingly dangerous as Muslim residents tend to drive erratically, and those who don’t speak English evidently don’t fully understand the rules of the road. “Seems like every restaurant that closes up — American restaurant — there’s a Muslim restaurant that opens up. I’ve seen four or five of them so far,” an unnamed neighbor said.

Yet another neighbor, like Tye, was born and raised in Warren in a home his family has owned since 1966 but left and later returned. It’s been a decade since he came back. “I’m normally laid back. Things don’t bother me,” he commented. “But it’s like, this is my neighborhood, and they’re just taking it over, and that’s what bothers me. And they don’t care.”
“This whole neighborhood has been flipped in a decade — less than a decade — to Muslim,” Tye stated. “Sure enough, they’re nice, they wave and everything. But I go by their actions, and their actions aren’t nice.” “Disrespecting the neighborhood, disrespecting the people who live here, parking in our driveways, blocking our driveways, parking on our lawns,” he charged.

A local outlet ran a story in 2021 accusing residents of harassment of the Muslim worshipers during Eid-al-Fitr celebrations. “It’s like Christmas for us, and to have people attack you on a holy day, it does hurt a little bit more,” Mubarak Mozeb told WDIV at the time. Other Muslims whined that they didn’t feel welcome in the neighborhood.

Tye pointed out that he never woke up the entire neighborhood with loudspeakers on Christmas.

Dhimmi City Officials Bend the Knee to Islam

His neighbors feel totally ignored by local officials, including the Warren Police Department. Residents suspect that the police have had their hands tied by city officials who support Muslims. Mayor Lori Stone reportedly refuses to speak to residents about the situation. “You never get to talk to Mayor Stone. You get to talk to her secretary, who’s a Muslim, who informed myself and my neighbors that we need to respect them because they’re Muslims,” Tye said. “They will do absolutely nothing but gaslight you,” he said, referring to the police and the city’s elected officials.

Naturally, Mayor Stone claimed she had no idea there were any issues. You know that isn’t the truth. She asserted that the claims, relayed to her office by Fox News Digital, were “broad and lack sufficient information for the City to verify or investigate the alleged incidents.” “To date, my office has not received the complaints or concerns outlined in your email, nor has the Warren Police Department provided any updates indicating problems related to the matters you describe,” her response contends.

The Warren Police Department stated that it “takes all quality-of-life concerns, including parking and noise complaints, seriously, regardless of where they originate.” It said the last incident they responded to was in March. “In previous years when officers responded to calls in the area, they consistently found that while vehicle volume can be high, all vehicles were legally parked,” the statement continued. “In the past, noise complaints associated with the area were primarily reported during the daytime, which fall outside the restrictions of the city’s general noise ordinances.”
Then the police claimed that they had not received any directives from City Hall to exempt any areas of the city from law enforcement. The residents have no reason to lie here. The mayor and the police sound dishonest, and believing them in this matter is pretty much impossible. Because of complacent leftists such as the mayor and her foot soldiers in the police department, the entire city has fallen to Islam. That is the plan to conquer the entire country. Michigan and New York are just ahead of the curve.

 

WHEN EVERY DESIRE BECOMES AN IDENTITY
AND EVERY IDENTITY DEMANDS PROTECTION

Another boundary in America’s sexual revolution quietly moved this week. Seattle’s City Council unanimously passed legislation expanding the city’s civil-rights protections to encompass additional sexual orientations, gender identities and people involved in consensual relationships with multiple partners.

The legislation explicitly adds pansexuality and asexuality to its definition of sexual orientation and says protected “attitudes, preferences, beliefs, and practices” include “consensual relationships involving multiple partners such as non-monogamous relationships.”

The legislation also deliberately removes the words “male or female” from portions of Seattle’s definition of sexual orientation, while the bill’s stated purpose includes recognizing “gender identities outside the gender binary.” This isn’t merely Seattle saying adults are free to live however they choose. They already were. Something more significant is happening. The government is taking additional sexual identities and relationship arrangements and placing them within the framework of protected civil rights.

From Tolerance to Protection

For decades, Americans have repeatedly been told that changes involving sexuality are primarily about leaving people alone. But there is an enormous difference between saying, “You are free to live this way,” and saying, “Your decision to live this way constitutes a legally protected characteristic.” Seattle has crossed that line with multi-partner relationships. The ordinance reaches into employment, housing, public accommodations, business licensing, policing, parks and other areas governed by Seattle’s anti-discrimination laws. The city’s legislation specifically speaks of “multi-partner/multi-parent families,” consensually non-monogamous relationships and other relationship structures that historically were not explicitly recognized.

Supporters view this as straightforward civil-rights protection. People shouldn’t lose an apartment or job simply because their private relationships differ from conventional ones. But there is another question society needs to confront: What happens when virtually every new form of sexual identity or relationship structure moves from personal choice to protected identity? Because the movement rarely stops at tolerance.

The Expanding Definition of Identity

America once possessed relatively straightforward categories for marriage, family and sex. Those categories have been steadily dismantled and reconstructed.
Sex became detached from marriage. Marriage became detached from male and female. Gender became detached from biological sex.
Gender itself multiplied into a growing spectrum of identities.

Now exclusivity is becoming detached from intimate relationships.

Seattle’s legislation doesn’t legalize plural marriage, and it is important not to claim that it does. But it does give legal recognition and protection to people in multi-partner relationships in significant areas of public life. And Seattle isn’t alone. The Guardian reports that Seattle is now the tenth American city to adopt protections for consensual non-monogamy, following communities including Cambridge and Somerville in Massachusetts and Berkeley and Oakland in California. Advocates are pursuing similar measures elsewhere. What was once considered far outside mainstream American family life is gradually acquiring a legal vocabulary, advocacy organizations and civil-rights protections. We’ve seen that pattern before. If Three, Why Not Four?

The uncomfortable question is where the limiting principle comes from. If two consenting adults may define their relationship however they choose, advocates ask why three consenting adults should be treated differently. But follow that reasoning one step further. Why three? Why not four? Why not five? If relationship structure itself becomes a protected characteristic, on what non-arbitrary basis does society eventually deny recognition to increasingly complicated arrangements among consenting adults? That question becomes particularly difficult once demands move beyond discrimination protections.

Imagine three adults who consider themselves one family. If marriage law eventually changes, could all three marry? Could all three be legal parents of the same child? Would all three receive spousal benefits? What happens with inheritance, Social Security, taxes, medical decision-making or divorce? What happens when a four-person relationship becomes a three-person relationship and assets must be divided? These aren’t arguments that Seattle’s ordinance answers those questions. It doesn’t. They are questions about where the philosophy behind these changes ultimately leads.

Marriage Has Already Been Redefined Once

That brings us inevitably to marriage. The Supreme Court’s 2015 Obergefell decision established a constitutional right to same-sex marriage. It did not establish a right to plural marriage, and nothing Seattle passed this week changes that. But the cultural argument is becoming increasingly familiar. If consenting adults should determine the structure of their intimate relationships, why should government insist that marriage contain exactly two people? Polyamory advocates increasingly have the language needed to make that case: equality, identity, discrimination, dignity and recognition. Today’s argument is that someone shouldn’t lose an apartment because he has two romantic partners. Tomorrow’s argument could be: Why should those three people be prohibited from marrying one another? That doesn’t mean courts will accept the argument. It means the question that once sounded absurd is becoming considerably less theoretical.

When Does Society Say No?

There is a deeper philosophical problem underneath all of this. Every civilization establishes boundaries. Freedom has never meant that every desire must be affirmed, every behavior celebrated or every lifestyle transformed into a protected identity. Traditional Christianity certainly doesn’t operate that way. Biblical sexual morality imposes limits: male and female, husband and wife, marriage, fidelity and sexual exclusivity. Those limits aren’t based upon the premise that human beings possess no desires outside those boundaries. Christianity teaches precisely the opposite—that human desires themselves require moral restraint. The modern sexual revolution increasingly begins with a radically different premise.

Identity is discovered through internal feelings and desires. Authenticity requires expressing them. Society is expected to affirm them. Eventually institutions are expected to accommodate them. And when isn’t enough accommodation, legal protection follows. That progression matters far beyond Seattle. Society can survive disagreement. It can survive people making radically different personal choices. But something changes when society becomes increasingly unable to say that any consensual sexual desire or relationship structure can ever be objectively disordered, unhealthy or morally wrong.

Because once desire becomes identity, disagreement becomes discrimination. Once identity becomes protected status, affirmation increasingly becomes an institutional obligation. And once every boundary is treated as oppression, there is always another boundary waiting to fall.

Seattle hasn’t legalized polygamy. But it has given Americans another glimpse of a question our culture increasingly seems unable to answer: If consenting adults should be free to define sex, gender, marriage and relationships entirely for themselves, what principle remains for saying there is anywhere the sexual revolution must finally stop?

 

THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND COLLAPSE
IS HAPPENING IN PLAIN SIGHT

Imagine trying to write a parody of the modern Church of England. Britain’s most senior Christian leader presents an award for “reconciliation and interfaith cooperation” to a Muslim cleric who once proposed honoring Osama bin Laden with the title “Sword of God.” Then imagine scheduling the presentation for September 11. Not just any September 11, either. The 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people in the United States.

Unfortunately, this isn’t parody.

Archbishop of Canterbury Sarah Mullally presented Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, with the Hubert Walter Award for Reconciliation and Interfaith Cooperation on September 11. The award recognized what was described as his “outstanding work as an ambassador of interfaith harmony in Pakistan.” Days later, Lambeth Palace withdrew it. The reason? According to the Archbishop’s office, “previous comments” made by Ashrafi had “come to light.” That explanation may be almost as disturbing as the original decision.

The Award That Should Never Have Been Given

The comments weren’t some obscure social-media post from Ashrafi’s youth. In 2007, while leading the Pakistan Ulema Council, Ashrafi said he would give Osama bin Laden the title “Saifullah” — “Sword of God” — amid controversy over Britain’s knighthood of Salman Rushdie. Ashrafi has since insisted that the remarks have been stripped of their context and were intended to illustrate Muslim anger over the Rushdie honor, not to endorse bin Laden. People can consider that explanation for themselves. But the question facing the Church of England is different: How did nobody responsible for vetting the recipient discover something this explosive before the Archbishop of Canterbury personally place an award in his hands? And how did nobody recognize the extraordinary symbolism of doing it on September 11?

The withdrawal doesn’t erase the problem. It exposes it. This was not an award hastily handed out by a local parish. It came from the office of the Archbishop of Canterbury and specifically honored its recipient for reconciliation and interfaith cooperation. The institution that awarded it apparently learned enough afterward to decide that it should never have been given. That should deeply concern anyone wondering about the judgment of those now leading one of Christianity’s most historically important institutions.

And Then Came Leeds

As if the Church of England needed another controversy involving Hamas and radical Islam, another erupted almost simultaneously. Leeds Minster had been hosting an exhibition called “Stitch Their Names Together,” displaying the names of thousands of Palestinians reported killed in Gaza since October 2023. Before the exhibition opened, the Leeds Jewish Representative Council warned that names of Hamas fighters could be included. Minster officials checked 12 names that had initially been identified, found that those names weren’t displayed on the panels at Leeds, and allowed the exhibition to proceed. Then came more evidence. On September 18, Leeds Minster acknowledged receiving information indicating that at least 18 known Hamas fighters were in fact named in the exhibition. The church immediately closed it and apologized for damaging its relationship with the Jewish community.

Christians should love their Muslim neighbors and desire peace with them. None of that requires abandoning discernment. Interfaith dialogue does not require handing out awards. Compassion for Palestinian civilians does not require blurring the distinction between civilians and Hamas terrorists. Reconciliation does not require pretending profound theological and moral differences don’t exist. And Christian love certainly doesn’t require naivety about radical Islamist ideology.

EPISCOPAL PRIESTESS MAKES WILD CLAIM ABOUT JESUS

‘God isn’t a boy’, God is “trans.” That’s the claim coming from the mouth of an “Episcopal priestess” who insists that Mary “assigned” Jesus to be male at birth. Bypassing the fact that the Bible records the angel Gabriel predicted to Mary that “a son” would be born, the priestess, Flourish Klink, has delivered a wildly new personal interpretation of the story of the birth of Christ. She believes Mary delivered Jesus and said, “Oh look, a baby boy!” But Jesus wasn’t a boy, she claims.

“Nevermind that that God sent the Angel Gabriel to tell Mary long before she even conceived that she would have a Son,” the report said. “Apparently, she was caught off guard after He was born.” “God isn’t a boy,” Klink says. “We have established this. God is beyond boy and girl. God was assigned a gender at birth and later on it became clear that that gender wasn’t quite right.” And there’s a threat: “If you’re going to deny God is trans, I think you’re going to be denying the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ…”

Klink online identifies as a priest at the Episcopal Church in New York at Christ & St. Stephen’s Church, following a tenure at the Church of St. Matthew & St. Timothy which now is “sadly closed.” Also, Klink is “a co-chair of the Greater New York Area Episcopal Trans Task Force. I’m also a member of the diocesan Liturgical Committee, and its Editorial Sub-Committee on ‘Psalms for All People’ and ‘Prayers for All People,’ a new version of the ’79 Psalter with expansive and inclusive language.”  Kling is “non-binary trans” and uses “they/them” pronouns. Social media responded: “There are two kinds of Christianity: those who hold the Scriptures as the highest authority, and those who don’t. Clearly, this person falls into the latter.” “This is the true church of Satan.” “Is this real?” “Blasphemy.”

A man who has “transitioned” into a “woman”—it’s legitimately hard to even write that with a straight face—claims that not Jesus, not salvation, not even anything remotely related to God’s word, but his “transgenderism” is actually the bread given to him by God. What is he talking about, you ask? This man, who is now ordained in the Church of England and goes by “Rev. Sarah Hobbs,” speaking at the 2026 “Love Wins Conference” last week, references Matthew 7:9—“if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?” Hobbs explains that he had been praying and asking God to give him bread by removing his transgender feelings from him, but during all these years, he thought God had been giving him stones. But one day, he realized that God wasn’t actually giving him stones, God was giving him bread all along. And that bread was his “transgenderism,” and his only option was to “transition.” Never mind that his “transition” caused him to divorce his wife. Never mind that his “transition” separated his children from their father and mother. Never mind that his decision caused irreparable harm to everyone else and led to more sin. His rebellion against God was the “bread of life.” And now, he could restore his relationship with God. The more remarkable thing here isn’t that some weirdo thinks he’s a woman and started dressing like one. The more remarkable thing is that they use God to justify their sin. Scripture is no longer allowed to define reality and confront the sinner’s rebellion. Instead, a person’s personal desires and hatred of God become the defining authority used to shape their reality. The Bible calls this blasphemy. And calling evil “good” will never go unpunished.

THE END-TIMES TIMELINE — GOD HAS REVEALED WHAT IS COMING

The world may appear to be moving forward without direction, but God has already revealed where history is going. Prophecy is not given merely to satisfy curiosity—it points us to the certainty of God’s purposes and the reality of eternity. This pre-Tribulation timeline presents the prophetic order from the closing of the Church Age through the Rapture, Daniel’s 70th Week, Christ’s Second Coming, the Millennial Kingdom, the final judgment, and the eternal state.

FOUNDATION — GOD’S PROPHETIC PLAN
God revealed to Daniel that: “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city…” Daniel 9:24 KJV Daniel’s prophecy concerns Israel and Jerusalem and establishes the framework for the prophetic program. The final, seventieth week is understood in the pre-Tribulation view as the future seven-year period commonly called the Tribulation. But before that prophetic period, Scripture gives us the promise of Christ’s coming for His Church.

THE RAPTURE — THE CHURCH DEPARTS
Paul writes: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout… and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 KJV

This is not Christ coming down to establish His earthly kingdom. Believers are caught up to meet Him in the air.
Paul also gives this assurance concerning the Church: “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”

DANIEL’S 70TH WEEK — THE TRIBULATION
After the Church’s departure, the prophetic program concerning Israel and the nations moves toward its climax.
Jesus described this future period: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time…” — Matthew 24:21 KJV

Revelation 6–18 records the terrible judgments and events associated with this prophetic period. But the Tribulation is not the end of the story.

CHRIST’S SECOND COMING
At the conclusion of that prophetic period, Jesus Christ returns bodily and visibly: “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” — Revelation 19:11 KJV

Revelation 19:11–21 records Christ’s victorious return and the battle associated with His judgment. Then Christ establishes His thousand-year kingdom: “…they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” — Revelation 20:6 KJV

After the Millennium comes Satan’s final rebellion, followed by the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:7–15). Then Scripture reveals: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away…” — Revelation 21:1 KJV

BUT WHERE WILL YOU BE?
This is where prophecy becomes personal. You can study Daniel. You can examine Revelation. You can debate the timing of the Rapture. You can study the prophetic timeline. But eventually, you will face eternity. The most important question isn’t merely: “What happens next?”
