Founded by John Yates, in Monroe, Louisiana, Faith Bible Institute is a life-changing journey through the Bible for everyone. There are group and online classes, amazing visuals, archaeological artifacts, fill in the blank notebooks, a chronological journey through EVERY BOOK, and a systematic study of Every major Doctrine to produce a revolutionary learning experience.  Courses included six 17-18 week semesters plus optional electives.

Each Semester is comprised of three courses:

  • Old Testament
  • New Testament
  • Theology

Classes meet on Tuesday evenings 6:00-9:00

Each Summer, we offer an Elective Course (in person only).
Summer 2026 will be “Biblical Archaeology I” taught by Dr. David Graves who has a Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and has taught the Bible and archaeology for more than thirty-five years at locations including Oxford University, England, and more recently, Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA.
Registration for this course begins February, 2026 with the deadline in April. Classes will be held each Tuesday evening in June and the final exam will be in person July 7.

  • Bible 101 – The Beginning and the Hebrew Fathers (Genesis /Job)
  • Bible 201 – Life of Christ I (begins Matthew, Mark, Luke and John)
  • Theology 201 – Doctrines of God and the Bible

Semester Two (Fall 2028 / 2031)

  • Bible 102 – The Exodus and The Promised Land (Exodus – Joshua)
  • Bible 202 – Life of Christ II (completes Matthew, Mark, Luke and John)
  • Bible 222 – The Book of Acts

Semester Three (Spring 2026 / 2029)

  • Bible 103 – The Judges and the Single Kingdom of Israel (Judges, Ruth, 1 – 2 Samuel, 1 Chronicles, 1 Kings 1-11 and 2 Chronicles 1-9)
  • Bible 213 – New Testament Epistles I (James, Galatians, 1-2 Thessalonians and Romans)
  • Bible 123 – Hebrew Wisdom Literature (Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon)

Semester Four (Fall 2026 / 2029)

  • Bible 114 – The Separate Kingdoms of Israel and Judah (completes 1-2 Kings & 2 Chronicles, Obadiah, Joel, Jonah and Amos)
  • Bible 214 – New Testament Epistles II (1-2 Corinthians, Ephesians, Colossians, Philemon and Philippians)
  • Theology 214 – Doctrine of Salvation

Semester Five (Spring 2027 / 2030)

  • Bible 115 – The Decline and Fall of Israel & Judah (Hosea, Micah, Isaiah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Habakkuk, Jeremiah and Lamentations)
  • Bible 215 – New Testament Epistles III (1-2 Timothy, Titus, Hebrews,1-2 Peter and Jude)
  • Theology 215 – Doctrines of the Holy Spirit, Satan and Man

Semester Six (Fall 2027 / 2030)

  • Bible 106 – The Exile and the Restoration of Israel (Ezekiel, Daniel, Ezra, Esther, Nehemiah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi)
  • Bible 216 – New Testament Epistles IV (1-3 John and Revelation)
  • Theology 216 – Doctrines of Christ and Sin

Courses are 2 credit hours each (36 credit hours total)
