What Child is This?

According to Barna Research Group, while most Americans still believe Jesus was a real person who lived 2000 years ago, they find it hard to believe He was the sinless Savior sent by God to redeem us from our sins.

   However, while most senior adults believe Jesus was God in the flesh, middle-aged adults say He was a spiritual leader like Mohammed or Buddha. Less than half of Millennials and less than a third of young adults believe Jesus was indeed God in the flesh. What bothered me most was that most teenagers describe Jesus as loving, caring, trustworthy, generous, and wise; One who is always there to offer hope in times of trouble, but less than half of them believe He is the Savior sent from God. So much for the expensive youth and children’s ministries.
